Our Story
As a master saddle fitter in Georgia for over 20 years Nancy is highly respected in the industry for her honesty and knowledge. She has studied under multiple Master Saddlers, has an extensive network of fellow saddle fitters to bounce ideas off of, and has trained many new fitters. Nancy uses her lifetime as a horse owner and rider of many disciplines as the basis for her saddle fitting. She treats each client like a friend and each horse as if they are her own.
What to expect at an appointment
When Nancy comes to your farm for an appointment you will see her arrive with a work trailer full of saddles, demos, consignment and new.
Before looking at saddles she will meet your horse and evaluate what fitting needs he/she has, as well as discuss with you the horses medical history and work load. Then she will either evaluate a saddle you already own and make adjustments onsite to improve the fit or help you try some saddles. Saddle shopping with Nancy is a process not something that is accomplished in one appointment, it may take trying different saddles over a period of a several weeks to find "the" saddle.
Our area and saddle brands
Nancy has serviced the Atlanta, Birmingham and Aiken area for 20+ years. She carries several brands of dressage saddles and jumping saddles that she feels are high quality and really allow her to fit both horse and rider. She is also very open to all brands and feels "if it works for the horse and rider then that's the best best brand for that combo". Nancy knows during a saddle fitting you have to have an open mind and be willing to look at each horse and riders needs in a different light.
